Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of QurbanHere.com and the services arranged through QurbanHere. By submitting an enquiry or proceeding with any arrangement, you agree to these terms. Religious rulings should be confirmed with a qualified scholar where needed.
1. About QurbanHere
QurbanHere is an independent private service that connects donors and families with on-the-ground partners for Islamic sacrifice, Zakat, and humanitarian projects. QurbanHere is not affiliated with MUIS or any government religious authority.
We operate year-round for Aqiqah, Nazar, Zakat, charity donations, Waqaf projects, and debt relief. Seasonal Qurban is offered during the annual registration window (typically opening around mid-Syawal for the following year).
2. Services Covered
- Aqiqah — sacrifice for a newborn (boy or girl) in Tarim or Indonesia
- Nazar — fulfilment of vows through partner-arranged sacrifice
- Zakat & Direct Enquiries — obligatory Zakat or direct charitable requests
- Donations to Tarim — financial and food aid to the Tarim community
- Waqaf Project — Sadaqah Jariyah via infrastructure (water, buildings, education)
- Paying Loans for the Needy — settling urgent debts of distressed families
- Qurban — seasonal sacrifice during the Eid al-Adha period (when registration is open)
3. How Qurban Is Arranged
When Qurban registration is open, the following process applies:
3.1 Enquiry and appointment as wakil
You begin with a guided enquiry on our website or via WhatsApp. Once confirmed, you appoint QurbanHere (or our designated on-the-ground partner) as your wakil (agent) to perform the sacrifice on your behalf.
3.2 Confirmation of details
Before sacrifice, we confirm with you (via WhatsApp):
- Location (e.g. Tarim, Indonesia, or other partner site)
- Timing within the permitted Qurban window (days of Eid al-Adha)
- Animal type and criteria per Islamic guidelines and local practice
- Names to be mentioned at sacrifice, where applicable and requested
- Total cost, including any logistics or handling fees
3.3 Sacrifice on the ground
Our verified local partners perform the sacrifice in accordance with Islamic guidelines. Animals are selected to meet health and Shariah requirements. Sacrifice is carried out during the valid period — not before Eid prayer on the day of Eid, and within the days of tashriq as applicable to your madhhab and arrangement.
3.4 Distribution of meat
Meat from Qurban is distributed to needy families and deserving recipients in the communities where sacrifice is arranged. Distribution priorities follow local need and Islamic guidance discussed with our partners. You may request information on how meat was distributed where available.
3.5 Proof and updates
Where operationally possible, we aim to provide:
- Confirmation of completion
- Reports or certificates
- Photo or video updates from the field
Timelines for updates depend on local conditions, connectivity, and partner capacity. Updates are provided as an amanah (trust), not as a guaranteed SLA.
3.6 Post-completion follow-up
After your Qurban is completed, you may contact us on WhatsApp for any follow-up questions. If an update is delayed or missing, message us and we will investigate with our field partners.
4. Aqiqah & Nazar Process
Aqiqah and Nazar follow a parallel process adapted for year-round timing:
- Guided enquiry on the website → WhatsApp confirmation
- Appointment as wakil for the specific sacrifice
- Confirmation of child details (Aqiqah), goat count, and location
- Partner performs sacrifice per sunnah practice and local guidelines
- Meat distributed to needy recipients where applicable
- Proof and field updates provided where available
For Aqiqah: a boy typically requires two goats and a girl one goat, per common sunnah practice — confirm specifics with your scholar.
5. Donations, Zakat & Charity Projects
For Zakat, Tarim donations, Waqaf, and debt relief:
- Funds are directed through verified on-the-ground partners
- Project scope, amount, and timing are confirmed personally via WhatsApp
- We aim to provide confirmation and verification of fulfilment where possible
- Zakat must meet nisab and hawal requirements — consult your scholar for eligibility and calculation
6. Administrative Fees
Please Note: QurbanHere reserves the operational right to collect a nominal 5% to 10% administrative fee from donations. This is strictly utilized to cover essential international money transfer fees, localized field logistics, special handling arrangements, or any third-party services directly required to securely fulfill and verify your donations on the ground.
This fee applies to donations and charity projects (including Tarim donations, Waqaf contributions, debt relief funds, and similar directed giving). It does not replace or hide the core purpose of your donation — it covers the operational cost of moving and verifying funds internationally.
For sacrifice services (Aqiqah, Nazar, Qurban), pricing is quoted transparently via WhatsApp and may include logistics costs inherent to on-the-ground arrangement. Any applicable fees are explained before you confirm.
7. Limitations & Disclaimers
- QurbanHere provides service information, not religious rulings. Confirm fiqh matters with a qualified scholar.
- We do not guarantee specific timelines for field updates, especially in remote areas.
- Force majeure events (conflict, travel restrictions, supply shortages) may affect timing — we will communicate delays promptly.
- Prices and availability are subject to on-the-ground conditions and are confirmed personally before commitment.
- No payment is processed on this website — all financial arrangements are completed via agreed channels after WhatsApp confirmation.
